Inside The Green Kaleidoscope

This ring was created as my contribution to the Wire Artisan Guild's monthly challenge - "Kaleidoscope" for March. When I think about caleidoscope I see colourfull vibrant images and I smile. When I look at this ring I smile too - look at those little joyful flowers! The ring features amazing, big, handmade Italian Millefiori Glass donut perfect for a coctail ring which is meant to be a dramatic large ring with a huge focal. The donut is certainly not a small one - it measures 3cm in diameter! It sits comfortably on ones hand though as the glass is pretty light. The band is hand wrapped with intricate pattern on a frame of four rings with meters of thin wire. There is no soldering - all my work is pure wire wrapping and requires almost ingeniering skills when designing a jewellery piece. The ring will be shipped in a little dark blue presentation box - ready to be presented as a gift. It's suitable for formal dressy occasions but it will also give a little twist to your everyday style.
